CHANGES are afoot for the Formula Prostocks Racing Club as chiefs reaveal big changes to a number of classes for next season.
The club, which is led by its flagship Bandit Challenge series, has been eyeing an expansion for a number of years and now, its other three Post-Classic championships are getting a refresh.
Previously, the trio of supporting classes featured the FP1 (pre ’81 Classic F1), FP2 (pre ’87 Production) and FP3 (pre ’95 Classic Superbikes) machines.
Next year, however, the FP1 ranks will include 16-valve motors while the FP3 series welcomes pre-’98 750cc Pre Injections.
But it’s the FP2 that looks to include the biggest change as the entire class becomes the pre-2005 Battle of the Twins.
