WIN: A set of Metzeler Racetec RR Tyres

In Competitions

FANCY winning a fresh set of race rubber for your bike? Well you could be in luck with this month’s UK Clubsport competition.

While we all wait patiently for the day we’re allowed to storm the track once again, you can get yourself ready to go on a new pair of stickies – we have teamed up with motorcycle tyre giant Metzeler to give one lucky reader a set of the company’s top tier Racetec RR tyres.

A key part of the Metzeler range since its introduction in 2014, the Racetec RR model has scored success in multiple treaded-tyre racing classes on track and on the roads scene, and remains a popular choice for riders across club grids.

Developed to win road races by road racers, Racetec RR offers a clear progression of steady improvement in grip – allowing better acceleration, braking and turning along with improved directionality and stability.

Rider feedback has helped further refine the high-speed stability, a vital component to Metzeler’s success at both the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT, where the firm is heavily involved.

It has also proved a popular choice on the short-circuit scene, giving high levels of predictable grip that riders can rely on – and some of the best durability in the game. Metzeler also supports leading club No Limits Racing and sponsors NLR’s Newcomer 600 and 1000 classes.

The Racetec RR range is available in a choice of three compounds – K1 (Soft), K2 (Medium) and K3 (Hard) – as well as in standard 17-inch fitment and 18-inch classic sizes.
