ROAD racing team WH Racing has confirmed it will be back on the grid next season as the squad return to action following a difficult 2019 season.
Bosses of the North East team, who lost their rider Daley Mathison after an incident in this year’s Superbike race at the Isle of Man TT, have announced this evening that they will look to run a rider in 2020 for another full road racing campaign.
A statement reads:
“Following the devastating loss of their rider at this year’s TT, WH Racing understandably decided to sit out the rest of the 2019 season.
“At the team’s recent meeting, it was decided to look to the future and was agreed by all, to race again in the 2020 road racing season, competing at the main international meetings.
“It is hoped that the team can secure their 2020 rider in the coming months and make their official announcement soon.”
