STREETSTOCK, Freetech and 50cc riders will be back in action next year as they return to the track for a three-round championship.

After condensing down to three classes – Superstock 125, Streetstock 125 and GP50, bosses announced that their 2020 campaign will begin at Teesside Autodrome on April 4.

Riders will return to the North Yorkshire track on June 20 for round two before a finale at a circuit yet to be announced, though championship chiefs say they will need a stout entry list to make the last round feasible.

A decision on the venue for round three is expected by mid-December.

In this year’s battle at Teesside back in September, it was Streetstock squad Team Brenda which emerged victorious after three hours of racing, ahead of Wassmuis and Chat Bobbins Racing.

Fast Rider Modified took the Freetech Evo honours just behind while Winklesteiner bagged the Freetech 50 spoils in 10th overall.
