Thompson joins WH Racing Team for 2019

ROADS man Joey Thompson is teaming up with WH Racing Team for a full assault on the international road racing scene next season.

The North East squad, which ran Dominic Herbertson for a majority of 2018 before Thompson joined up for the final British Supersport round, will be back in action as they run the TT top-fiver at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.

“I’m really happy that myself and the WH Racing Team have come to an agreement and we’ve finally put pen to paper,” he said.

“They are a great group and have put a very competitive package together which I think will work on both the roads and short circuits, so I can’t wait to get going soon.”
