Team Classic Suzuki reveals new SRAD Superbike

In Classic, News, Roads

TEAM Classic Suzuki has pulled the wraps off its latest race bike as it gears up to tackle the international classic scene next season.

Built around a former factory endurance racer, the 1996 GSX-R750 SRAD replaces the squad’s XR69 F1 machines, which carried roads legend Michael Dunlop to victory in the 2016 Classic TT Superbike race.

The new bike features a factory dry slipper-clutch, a lightweight generator, a magnesium offset sump, close ratio six-speed gearbox and a factory Yoshimura exhaust system.

Along with K-Tech suspension and a longer swingarm, the SRAD sports Brembo calipers, OZ wheels and Dunlop slicks, in-house triple clamps, footrests, carbon kevlar bodywork and more.

The bike will get its first shakedown at a two-day test at Cartagena next week with 19-time TT winner Dunlop in the hot seat.
