Supermoto to return next month

In News, Supermoto

SUPERMOTO racers are set to be back on track in less than four weeks as Norasport announces the return of two-wheeled action next month.

As with many clubs across the country, the British Supermoto Championship has been off-track for the entire year save a four-wheeled Superlite-only event at Blyton Park last Friday. But chiefs have today revealed dates for the opening round.

The first full event will be The John Blakeman Memorial Meeting at Three Sisters on 18 and 19 July.

A statement today reads:

I’m sure like us you have missed the Supermoto family coming together to race and we are really looking forward to getting the season up and running.

We are going to need everyone to play their part in ensuring the meeting will run smoothly and above all to make sure everyone is made as safe as possible.

The revised championship will run over the remaining four rounds of what was originally set to be an eight-round season.

British Supermoto and Superlite Championship 2020 dates

Round 5: Three Sisters (18-19 July)

Round 6: Pembrey (29-30 August)

Round 7: Teesside (19-20 September)

Round 8: Cadwell Park (31 October – 1 November)
