FRANKIE Stennett is set to make his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2020 as he joins forces with The People’s Bike squad.

The Manxman, who scored a podium on home turf this season with a second place finish in the Southern 100’s 600cc B races, will join the newcomer’s army in August as he takes on the Mountain Course for the very first time.

While he is also planning to tackle more Irish road races next year after bagging a win in the Senior Support ranks at Killalane back in September, Stennett admitted he is happy to be joining the team for his MGP debut.

“I am very excited to join The People’s Bike on the Rising Star Programme,” he revealed.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to join a very relaxed, yet professional team with many years experience which will be vital in the step up to the Manx Grand Prix for my newcomer year.

“Everyone involved is extremely enthusiastic and I can’t wait to start working together as a team.”
