THE Southern 100 Supporters Fund has had its coffers boosted with a donation from the Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club.

The Isle of Man-based motorcycle club has handed a cheque for £1000 to the fund, raised by its members at a recent event in memory of Denis Barlow.

Denis’ wife Barbara presented the cheque to Southern 100 officials Phil Edge and Phil Kneen, who were delighted with the donation.

“The club is extremely grateful to everyone involved with the Mhoddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club for their continued support,” said Phil Edge.

“This donation will go towards the costs of providing some of the safety equipment at next year’s Southern 100, which will be held from July 10-13, 2017.”
