CHIEFS at the Southern 100 Club have laid plans for next season and announced their calendar of race dates for 2021.
Following news nearly four weeks ago that the Pre-TT Classic Road Races were to be postponed amid the Covid-19 outbreak. with the Post-TT event cancelled altogether, the flagship Southern 100 Road Race was eventually axed just a few days later with the Pre-TT also officially off the table.
But with an eye on a fresh start next year, bosses have broken cover with a full programme of racing on the Billown Course next season.
With the same title sponsors on board for all three events, the club will kick off action with the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races on Friday, Saturday and Monday 28, 29 and 31 May 2021.
Immediately following the Isle of Man TT fortnight, the Silicone Racing Post TT Road Races will run on Saturday 12 June, as usual less than 24 hours after the scheduled finish of the Senior TT.
The club’s blue riband event, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races, will then round out action in the south of the island on Monday, Thursday, Wednesday and Thursday 12, 13, 14 and 15 July.
