TRICIA Clague has bumped her total fundraising tally to nearly £15,000 after her latest donation to the Southern 100 Supporters Club.
While she has been looking after Race Control hospitality for the past two decades, Ms Clague has also been quietly working for more than 25 years to raise funds for the S100 organisation.
The Supporters Club provides funds for purchasing safety equipment around the Colas Billown Course and helps riders and families in need should circumstances arise.
And at a recent social evening held at The Old Market Inn, Douglas, Ms Clague presented her latest donation of £1,000 to Clerk of the Course Peter Oates, bringing her tally of money raised since 1996 to a whopping £14,384.
Through various methods, including hand-making greeting cards, keyrings, decorating empty wine bottles and more, many of which are on display and for sale at the Inn, she continues to boost the Supporters Club kitty.
“You never fail to surprise us with your donations each year…and the Supporters Cub is extremely grateful to you,” said Club Chairman George Peach at the meeting.
