PDMCC: Clean sweep for Dieterman with new lap records

In News, PDMCC

JOHN Dieterman chalked up all the PDMCC Pre Injection and Open spoils this weekend as he broke both lap records en route to victory.

The Ducati TT F1 rider scorched the Three Sisters International circuit to bag four wins on the trot with a combined margin of over 40sec to bolster his standing in the PI standings, where he had already set lap records at round one.

Dieterman shot into the lead from the start of the first Pre Injection scrap, powering ahead of Nik Lomas early on and setting a new record of 55.199sec to take victory by almost 12sec while James Leatham recovered to make a late pass on Ste Johnston for the final rostrum spot some three seconds further back.

It was much the same story at the front of the second PI race as Dieterman took control from the off and crossed the line over 13sec ahead of Leatham as Alister Milne made a last lap pass to take third from Tom Major.

No one could get past Dieterman in the 401-1300cc races either and all his closest challenger Mark Pattinson could do, especially with the four-time winner’s lap record of 55.329sec boosting him along, was settle for second on both occasions ahead of reigning Twins champ Sam Eckersley.
