Kalvin Phillips Transfer Odds

Kalvin Phillips has been linked with a move away from Manchester City just one season after joining the Premier League champions from Leeds United. Despite City's treble in 2022-23, Phillips has struggled for regular playing time in Pep Guardiola's midfield.
With Phillips openly admitting he may need to leave City for more minutes on the pitch, several top European clubs are being tipped as potential destinations for the 27-year-old England international.
Below are the latest transfer odds on where Phillips could end up if he decides to push for a transfer this summer.
Kalvin Phillips Transfer Odds
West Ham are viewed by the bookmaker as the favourites to sign Kalvin Phillips this summer, with other clubs – including one from abroad – believed to be among the potential destinations for the England international.

West Ham
West Ham are in desperate need of more signings in midfield after selling their captain Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105 million. Kalvin Phillips and the Irons may be the perfect match for multiple reasons. First, Phillips’s playing style is similar to that of Rice. Second, the 27-year-old is likely to get enough playing time considering the competition in midfield. And lastly, West Ham can offer the English international Europa League football after winning the UEFA Conference League last term.
Liverpool
With Fabinho completing a sensational £40 million move to Saudi Arabia, the Reds are left without a starting defensive midfielder. Phillips would be good for the job if he manages to stay injury free and returns to the level he showed at Leeds United.
Liverpool were one of the teams interested in Phillips last summer so Jurgen Klopp clearly likes his profile. It remains to be seen whether the club is willing to take the risk and sign a player who missed a big chunk of the previous season due to injury.
Newcastle United
Newcastle being on the list reflects the club's growing ambition and financial power under its new Saudi ownership. After qualifying for Champions League football for the first time in almost 20 years, reinforcements are more than welcomed at St. James’ Park. It’s true that Newcastle already have Bruno Guimaraes playing in the centre of the park and have recently signed Sandro Tonali, but Kalvin's addition would certainly not hurt a team that will be competing on two fronts this season.
Arsenal
Arsenal have already signed the aforementioned Declan Rice this summer but the fans are hoping for more additions in midfield in case Thomas Partey leaves the club. However, the Emirates Stadium may eventually prove the wrong destination for Phillips as Mikel Arteta clearly views Rice as his starter in the defensive pivot spot – Kalvin would have to agree to a bench role again.
Bayern Munich
At 26.0, Bayern Munich rounds out the odds for Phillips' most likely destinations. Thomas Tuchel may put in a good word for the 27-year-old Englishman as he knows him from his time in the Premier League. However, Kalvin is unlikely to become an undisputed starter at Allianz Arena in case of a move. The Bavarians have recently brought in Konrad Laimer on a free transfer and they already have Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka as options.
