Aurelien Tchouameni Next Club Odds

In 2022, Aurelien Tchouameni completed a move to Real Madrid worth around £62 million, with Los Blancos beating other top clubs to his signature. The French defensive midfielder was meant to serve as an understudy to Casemiro at first, but the Brazilian joined Manchester United the same summer, leaving Tchouameni as the only nominal defensive midfielder in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
As a consequence, the 23-year-old became a starter at Madrid instantly, and his performances were nothing short of impressive. However, Tchouameni’s dip in form after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in addition to the injury he picked in January resulted in him losing the starting spot towards the end of the season. For example, he was benched in all of Real Madrid’s Champions League knockout games, with the coach preferring the more experienced Toni Kroos in his spot.
Despite his contract with Real Madrid running until 2028, the midfielder has been linked with a potential summer exit, explaining why the Aurelien Tchouameni next club odds have been going up.
List of latest Aurelien Tchouameni transfer odds
Liverpool sit at the top of Aurelien Tchouameni transfer odds after a failed move for the France international last summer. Other clubs from Europe’s elite are also believed to be among the potential destinations.

Liverpool
Liverpool are on the market for a new defensive midfielder after recently selling Fabinho to Al Ittihad for £40 million. Jurgen Klopp is known to be a big admirer of Aurelien Tchouameni after heavily pushing for his signing last summer. The Reds could not beat Real Madrid to the transfer, but now that the 23-year-old’s chances to be an undisputed starter at Santiago Bernabeu look bleak– even in Ancelotti’s new 4-4-2 diamond formation, Toni Kroos was preferred during the important pre-season matches – Liverpool have an argument in their favour. Tchouameni would fit right at home in Fabinho’s vacant spot.
Nevertheless, the Frenchman does not seem to prioritize a move to Anfield, having liked a tweet reading “Tchouameni is not for sale, you understand, Liverpool?” in recent weeks. Madrid is not a club that rejects big offers for players they do not deem indispensable, though, so Tchou’s future may only depend on his own ambitions.
Arsenal
Arsenal have already made their big summer signing by bringing over Declan Rice from West Ham for a club-record £100 million, but their hunt for midfielders has not stopped. The Gunners have only one alternative to Rice in the no.6 position, Thomas Partey, but the Ghana international's future is up in the air, so reinforcements would be welcomed.
Besides, Mikel Arteta needs a larger squad as his team has qualified for Champions League football for the first time in the 2016-17 season.
Tchouameni would be an ideal midfielder for Arsenal as he represents a balanced combination of physical strength and technique. The Frenchman’s good passing range and powerful long shots would make him a great addition in the middle of the park.
Bayern Munich
It’s been rumoured that Thomas Tuchel, after taking charge at Bayern Munich mid-season, has tasked the club with finding him a more defensive profile to strengthen the midfield. The Bavarians aren’t short of options to play in the centre of the pitch but their two starters, Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, are more adventurous with their movements, while Tuchel wants someone to be glued to their position all the time.
Tchouameni definitely has the potential to become that player, and it’s said that he would be interested in a switch to Allianz Arena. However, Bayern still have Ryan Gravenberch on their books, and until the Dutchman’s future is solved, it’s difficult to imagine them going for a new player.
Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain too were involved in the race for Tchouameni’s signing last summer. Interestingly, Kylian Mbappe was said to be the figure most in favour of Aurelien’s arrival and even tried to convince the fellow Frenchman to join the Parisians in personal chats, with the two known to be friends. The move never materialized, though, and now Mbappe is close to leaving PSG.
Of course, it doesn’t mean that PSG have forgotten about Tchouameni but there have been no credible reports regarding a move so far. While the Parisians do appear on the Aurelien Tchouameni next club odds, Luis Enrique’s new team has already signed Manuel Ugarte and Lee Kang-in to bolster the midfield, they may have other priorities for now.
