The Saudi Pro League matchday 13 will close with a promising encounter between Al Wehda and Al Nassr. The kick-off is scheduled for 9 pm local time on Saturday, November 13.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s team are on a great run of form as they have won four out of their last five league matches. The hosts have only won one game in the meantime, and even that game was against 17th-placed Al Hazem.

Going into our Al Wehda vs Al Nassr tips, we will have to keep in mind that the visitors had a mid-week match in the AFC Champions League which may affect their performance.

Al Nassr win

Al Nassr have been unbeaten in the league since late August and we expect Cristiano Ronaldo’s side to continue the good run of form with a victory on the road against Al Wehda. And we mentioned above that the locals beat Al Hazem last weekend, but that win was preceded by three consecutive losses.

Needless to say, Al Nassr have the better squad and are in better form. Al Wehda’s biggest player is perhaps Odion Ighalo who once played for Manchester United on loan but failed to score a single league goal. Al Nassr, on the other hand, have world-class players in each line, starting with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane in attack and ending with Marcelo Brozovic in midfield and Aymeric Laporte in defence.

So, the obvious difference in class combined with Al Wehda’s recent record should result in a fairly easy win for the visitors. Bet365’s odds on an Al Nassr win stand at 1.50.

Both teams to score? Yes

At the same time, we do expect the hosts to score at least once on Saturday and there are two reasons for it. Meanwhile, Bet365 give 1.50 odds on both teams scoring.

First, Al Wehda, despite the poor showing in recent weeks, have scored in every one of their previous five matches. What is more, Giorgos Dionis’ men have a solid scoring record with 22 goals in 12 matches. That is one goal more than third-placed Al Tawoon.

And second, Al Nassr will be somewhat fatigued following their mid-week game against Al Duhail in the AFC Champions League. With many star players set to join their national teams for the international break, we can see Luis Castro’s men be not as focused and diligent at the back.

And if you want to combine this part of our Al Wehda vs Al Nassr tips with the previous one, Bet365 gives 2.60 odds on both teams scoring an Al Nassr getting the full points.

Over 3.5 goals

And finally, we predict that the game at King Abdul Aziz Stadium will be somewhat of a goalfest, with Bet365’s odds on over 3.5 goals being at 1.83.

Let’s begin by saying that there have been at least four goals in three out of Al Wehda’s last five Saudi Pro League matches. In Al Nassr’s case, this is true about two of their last five league games.

We’ve praised Al Wehda’s attack but we should mention that their defence is one of the worst in the league with 24 conceded goals. Al Nassr, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane in attack – and 33 league goals scored to date – should be able to take advantage of that.

Also important to note that on matchday 13, first-placed Al Hilal will play third-placed Al Tawoon. Al Nassr, who currently sit second, will want a statement win in case the competitors drop points this weekend.
