New sidecar class for S100 Pre-TT Classic?

SOUTHERN 100 Road Racing bosses have made a call for a new class of sidecar entries to bolster next year’s programme of races.

Part of the big annual scraps at Billown, the Blackford’s Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races has featured both solos and classic sidecars ever since the event’s inception in 1988.

But now, club chiefs are looking to expand to include even more outfits with a new Post Classic TT Sidecar Race.

While S100 organisers have received similar requests in the past, responses have been as yet limited.

Any teams looking to run post-classic machinery on the Billown course in what could be a new class next year are urged to contact Race Secretary George Peach as soon as possible on georgepeach@manx.net with views and expressions of interest.

A decision will made in due course whether or not to include a new Post Classic Sidecar race to the programme for 2021.
