GORDON Shand and Tony Belsey secured the Ian Bell Memorial Trophy with a clean sweep at East Fortune this weekend as they dominated the North East Club finale.

The duo beat Michael Kirkup and Arlo Brown by over 12s in the first two races before final race runners-up Simon Robinson and Phil Gravel cut their advantage to just over three seconds, but still lost out at the line.
With the commanding threesome of victories, Shand and Belsey added the coveted Ian Bell award to their trophy cabinet, while Robinson and Gravel, who had already taken the Marin Cup crown, bolstered their collection with the Scottish Sidecar Racing Club’s overall and F2 championship silverware.
Hadleigh Amos and Leon Fitzpatrick used their two podium finishes to secure first place in the SSRC F1 ranks.
