McGuinness and Jessopp set for Be Wiser Macau debut

In News, Roads

JOHN McGuinness will team up with Martin Jessopp to form an all new Be Wiser Ducati squad to tackle this year’s 52nd Edition Macau Grand Prix.

Paul Bird Motorsport will return to the famous event as champions following Glenn Irwin’s victory last year on just his second visit.

But it’ll be all change this year and with Irwin no longer wishing to contest the event, team boss Bird has today confirmed he has drafted in big-hitter McGuinness and roads and BSB regular Jessopp.

Twenty three-time TT winner McGuinness last tasted victory with the Penrith poultry magnate’s squad back in 2001, and returns this year fresh from a Classic TT win last month.

Jessopp, meanwhile, is keen to build on a successful 2018, having taken his first North West 200 win along with a number of top seven TT race results.
