JAMES Hind looks poised to make his Isle of Man TT debut next season after revealing plans to ride a Paton for Team ILR / Mark Coverdale.
The Manx Grand Prix winner, who destroyed the field and smashed records en route to a double win at the Lightweight MGP races back in August, is set to ride one of the Italian 650s for Ian Lougher’s squad as he makes his first appearance at the world’s biggest road race.
While Hind made his strongest impressions on a TZ250, he managed to clock a 121.7mph lap on his R6 before mechanical woes took over and forced him out of the Senior and Junior MGP scraps.
The youngster joins North West 200 race winner Stefano Bonetti and Ulster Grand Prix podium man Joe Loughlin, who both shook up the order last season under Paton power and will be looking to do the same in 2020 at both the NW200 and the TT.
Completing Team ILR’s four-pronged lineup will be Masayuki Yamanaka as the Japanese rider returns to the TT on an ER-6 and ZX6R.
