Manx GP/Classic TT: Tuesday practice axed as rain hits

In Classic, Manx Grand Prix, News, Roads

MANX Grand Prix and Classic TT chiefs have had to strike tonight’s practice and qualifying sessions off the programme as rain hit the Mountain Course.

Action was due to get underway just after 6pm this evening but after several delays for weather and marshal movement, Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson was forced to axe any potential track time.

Rumours abound of daytime sessions running for the rest of this week in addition to the evening practice slots, but no official plans have yet been laid.
