SUPERTWIN supremo Paul Jinks and his 2018 rider Greg Madero are both confident they can push for title glory after a successful test at the weekend.
Just a month on since Jinks announced he had signed the former Stocktwin champ to contest Thundersport GB’s Supertwin series next year, Madero had his first outing on the Trickbits Racing Suzuki SVR17 at Mallory Park on Sunday.

Despite a damp start to the day, Madero was able to get some valuable laps under his belt, and both rider and boss emerged happy.
“After a cold, wet start it eventually started to dry up and we were able to start testing,” said Madero. “I was happy with how it felt and I was able to push after just a few sessions.
“After a few tweaks I feel very confident with the performance and the whole package Paul has put together. There’s no doubt our objective is to win the 2018 title, and I’m feeling excited about next year.”
Jinks was equally pleased with the day. “The test went so well, and considering the temperature on the day, Greg was close to lap record pace,” he told UK Clubsport.
“We tried a couple of things we had not considered before with the rear tyre size and it worked out very well. I’ve known Greg and Ray for some time now and enjoyed working with them, and the feedback I received.
“It was a very successful test and we all went away feeling confident, and looking forward to 2018.”
