IRISH Minibike Championship riders are set to hit the track in just three weeks’ time as chiefs reveal the opening race day of 2020.

Thanks to recent NI Executive announcements concerning the recommencing of competitive sport in Northern Ireland, racers are now preparing to descend on Nutts Corner on July 18 for Round 1.

In accordance with government guidelines and like many, if not all, bike racing clubs, the IMC’s season opener will run behind closed doors as attendance is limited, inclusive of competitors, mechanics, parents/guardians.

The full 2020 IMC race calendar is set to be released in the coming days.
