IOMTT marshal training sessions now open

MARSHALS hoping to suit up for the orange army at this year’s Isle of Man TT can now book places on any number of free training courses.

Courtesy of the TT Marshals Association, the sessions will run from approximately 8:45am to 5pm at a host of locations from Douglas all the way down to Thruxton between February and November.

Training days are open to all registered IOM TT Marshals who have completed at least five sessions on the TT Mountain Course.

Places are available to book by emailing and stating which date and venue you would like to register for.

23 March – Rugby
24 March – Rugby
13 April – Thruxton Race Circuit
14 April – Thruxton Race Circuit
28 May – Douglas (priority for off-island marshals)
29 May – Douglas (priority for off-island marshals)
11 August – Douglas
20 August – Douglas (priority for off-island marshals)
21 August – Douglas (priority for off-island marshals)
12 October – Birkenhead
13 October – Birkenhead
16 November – Douglas
