Hind and Lougher set for OM Spring Cup assault

In News, Oliver's Mount, Roads

JIM Hind and Ian Lougher are gearing up to make their return to Oliver’s Mount this month as they bid to bag more silverware.

The Team ILR boss, who holds the record for most wins around the Scarborough circuit, will be back in action on one of the team’s Paton S1-Rs alongside up-and-coming roads star Hind.

The 21-year-old rocked the Oliver’s Mount paddock last season by qualifying on pole in all three modern bike classes at the Gold Cup – in just his second appearance at the circuit.

Hind scored podiums in the 600, 250 two-stroke and Twins classes with two dominant wins aboard his TZ250 and a fourth place finish in the feature Gold Cup race.

As with last season, Hind will again have the Team ILR – Mark Coverdale S1-R Paton and ZX-6R Kawasaki at his disposal.

The 2021 Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup is set to run over the weekend May 22-23.
