DOMINIC Herbertson will be back in action with Classic TT winning squad Davies Motorsport next season as he bids to reclaim the crown.

The team, headed up by John and Colin Davies, have re-signed the Northumberland rider with plans to run him on a Kawasaki ZX-10, Yamaha R6 and a range of classic machinery as he looks to build on his 10th in this year’s blue riband Senior race at the Isle of Man TT.

Herbertson claimed the 2018 Junior Classic TT crown on the squad’s Honda 350 and will also be looking to get back on top in 2020 after missing out this year but bagging a podium finish behind Michael Rutter and maiden winner Jamie Coward.

“We are pleased to announce Dom Herbertson will be again riding with us next year,” a Davies Motorsport rep said.

“After winning the classic TT in 2018 followed up by a top ten finish in the senior TT this year, he has propelled himself into mainstream, we expect big things from him next year…”
