POST classics are set to add some pre-mixed flavour to the Thundersport GB programme as GP Originals riders join the club for two of their four rounds next year.
The TZ250 and 350-dominated championship is back for another campaign after a highly-successful 2018 series, and grid spots are already filling up for 2019.
GP Originals will head south to Brands Hatch Indy to join Thundersport for its first round of the year in late March before jumping on the Wirral 100 Club’s Oulton Park programme four weeks later.
The post-classics will be some of the few solos on the Sidecar Revival programme at Cadwell Park in June before the final point-scoring round back with Thundersport on Donington Park’s National circuit in July.
As with this season, the TZs are also set to head back to Portugal for the Algarve Classic Festival for a non-championship round at Portimao in early November.
TSGB boss Dave Stewart admitted that it was a bit of nostalgia for him to welcome the two-strokes to the track next year.
“The GP Originals reminds me of back in the day when you could go and buy a full-out Grand Prix bike and go racing,” he told UK Clubsport.
“They’ve got a good series and I’m happy to have them on board for a couple of rounds next year. It’ll be great to see them out on track with us.”
