Former Thundersport champ Biswell switches to supermoto

IT’S all change for former Thundersport GB champion Mark Biswell this season as he looks set to tackle the British Supermoto series.

The 2016 Golden Era Steelsport champion, who has spent the last two seasons fighting for honours in the Golden Era Superbike class, has now sold up both his steelie and Triumph 955 race machines in a bid to do dirt bike battle.

UK Clubsport understands the rider is in fact meant to stick their leg out while cornering…

And although he admits it will be a challenge getting comfortable with the new discipline, Biswell is elated to be changing things up.

“It’s a new challenge and a new venture, I just need to work out how to ride it now,” he told UK Clubsport.

“It’s going to be a steep learning curve, but we’ll be out with the Norasport British Supermoto championship. There is still a lot to do to get the bike right, but more importantly a lot of learning for me.

“It’s a change of direction for us but I’m excited to get out there.”
