In Awards, Sidecars

DOMINANT duo Sean Reeves and Paul Thomas have secured the peoples’ vote and taken the UK Clubsport F2 Sidecar Team of the Year crown.

The Bemsee champions, who destroyed the opposition in their club campaign this season with 26 wins from 29 races, bagged a majority of the public vote with 23.4 per cent to their name as they clinched the award.

Second in the polls with 14 per cent were the North East Club’s F600 sidecar champs and FSRA British F2 front-runners Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie.

Just a few votes behind were ARA’s Jurby champs Craig Melvin and Stuart Christian, ahead of fourth-placed Michael Kirkup and Arlo Brown.
