Freelance motorsports photography…
Chris Swinton is the UK’s only blind bike sport photographer, fighting to defy odds and change what people think by taking good pictures.
Sitting there being told ‘you can’t’ and ‘you won’t’ led him to a bush just outside Milntown on the Isle of Man TT course, ready to take his very first pictures. Now, five years later, his images are regularly featured in both online motorcycle media outlets and local newspapers.
Chris will be supporting a handful of riders who will be displaying the Blind Photographer logo on their person or bike in 2019 as he ventures from Three Sisters to Aintree, Darley Moor, Thundersport and more in a quest for the best shots.
One of Chris’s main aims is to help others in similar situations, and on his quest he will be supporting sensory loss charity Walthew House in Stockport and The Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund, named after the up-and-coming Manxman who lost his life in an incident at Oliver’s Mount in 2016.
A Charity Gallery on Chris’s website features a large array of signed BSB and Road Racing prints, which are ready to bid on in support of his nominated causes – check out his website above for more.
