DARLEY Moor officials have today announced plans to get their racers back to the grid as they look to run their final three club rounds of 2020.
The seven-round championship has been largely decimated thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, but the club’s riders are set to be back on track in early August for an official test day.
But as far as racing goes, Darley Moor MCRRC will only have time to run three rounds across two weekends between mid-September and mid-October.
After the official practice day on August 8 and just a few weeks after the CRMC descends on the Derbyshire circuit for its second of four rounds, Darley racers will be back for what was to be their fifth round of 2020 on Sunday, September 13 following a practice day on the Saturday.
Riders will be back in action four weeks later for the finale on October 10 and 11 as a double-header, which was originally set to host the Stars at Darley meeting, rounds out the curtailed season.
