SEVEN of this year’s leading up and coming club racing stars will line up in the 2018 British Talent Cup.
Thundersport GB Superteen and Bemsee’s Team Green Junior Cup championship leader Charlie Farrer heads a list of six regular club racers along with the recently departed Scott Ogden who have made the grid for next year’s inaugural series.
The young hotshots are among 22 riders to make the final cut after yesterday’s hard-fought selection day at Silverstone, which saw 90 youngsters battle it out before being whittled down to the final 22 last night.
Along with Farrer and Ogden – who had led Superteens earlier this year before departing to Motostar – more talent from the Thundersport GB camp includes fellow Superteen runner Franco Bourne.
Also coming in from Thundersport is rising Irish star Rhys Irwin, who currently sits second in the Aprilia RRV450GP series.
As expected, a Scottish clubs invasion will also hit the British Talent Cup grid, with Scottish 125 and European Talent Cup favourite Jack Hart, 125 rider Adon Davie and the unstoppable lightweights favourite, Lewis Paterson.
The club riders will be battling it out against riders from the HEL Performance British Motostar Championship, Spanish CEV championships and a couple of youngsters from Cool Fab.
