BOSSES at Oliver’s Mount are calling classic sidecar teams as they look to boost grids at the postponed Barry Sheene Classic this summer.
Earlier today, chiefs at the Scarborough venue revealed the June bash will now take place on June 26-27 instead of a week earlier as originally planned.
But the new dates now clash with the FSRA British F2 championship round at Anglesey alongside the Wirral 100 Club.
As a result, Mount boss Andy Hayes announced he is axing the modern outfit class at this year’s Sheene Classic and will instead look to bolster grids with classic sidecars.
