Bemsee introduces Junior Supersport class

In Bemsee, News

BEMSEE chiefs have today revealed plans to add a new Junior Supersport class to the Team Green grid for the remainder of the season.

Any machine which complies to the current Bennetts British Superbike Junior Supersport rules will be eligible to enter the new class, which will run on the same grid as the Team Green Junior Cup and Senior 300 series.

Starting at the club’s flagship Brands Hatch GP meeting over the weekend July 13 and 14, it will run across three more rounds this season – Cadwell Park in August, Snetterton 300 in September and Brands Hatch Indy in October.

The idea is to give young riders who may be racing in the BSB Supersport series the chance for track time options which aren’t currently available. If it proves successful this year, Bemsee bosses will look to run a full Supersport championship in 2020.

Any riders interested in signing up can enter now via the club’s website: www.bemsee.net
