JULIAN Trummer will be heading for Castletown this May as he makes his Billown Circuit debut aboard a TC Racing Kawasaki.

The Austrian is set to contest the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which have already been flooded with entries, on the same superbike with which he clocked a 118.5mph lap at last year’s Classic TT.

And after leaving last year’s IOMTT, his second, with a ninth in the Lightweight race, Trummer will look to carry momentum into the Southern 100 Club’s opening race of the season ahead of the famous fortnight.

“We are pleased to be taking part in the Billown Circuit Pre TT Races this May with Austrian Julian Trummer on board the ZXR750K,” said TC Racing bosses.

“Julian will be making his debut at Billown after visiting last weekend to do a few laps in a hire car to see how he liked the track. As we expected, he was happy to be reunited with his old bike and looking forward to trying another pure road circuit.”
