JURBY Motordrome was rife with action this weekend as Andreas Racing Association riders headed to the north of the island for their second event of the season.

And while Ryan Cringle controlled the 1300 Solo Centre and Formula 600 action, there were plenty other Manxmen and off-island riders who made the journey to the former RAF base in search of spoils.

Moffitt bagged four wins acoss the Singles/Twins/Triples and 650 races…

Dave Moffitt grabbed an early advantage in the first 650 race before Mark Colvin made a pass for the lead a few laps in, but Moffitt wasn’t to be beat and he powered ahead to cross the line 0.726sec ahead of Colvin for victory.

In race two, however, Moffitt led lights to flag and once again beat Colvin to the chequered flag with a new lap record to boot, a 1:11.522, while Illiam Quayle bagged two thirds. Just behind them in the battle for 400 honours, Laurence Cummins dominated race one over Cameron Brown and Luke Blevins, while Blevins pinched the win by 0.236sec ahead of Brown in race two.

Moffitt was back out for both Singles/Twins/Triples scraps where it was a repeat podium as he swept both races ahead of Colvin and Quayle, chalking up yet another new lap record for the class of 1:11.671.

MGP winner Farrell en route to a Post Classic lap record…

Reigning Manx Grand Prix winner Andy Farrell scorched to the first Post Classic victory on the Primus Racing Kawasaki with a 1:12.453sec lap record in hand, while race one runner-up Mally Oates powered to the second race win. Darran Creer controlled the Classic action just behind with two wins on the trot ahead of Richard Bregazzi, leaving Cummins and Andy Cowie to split thirds.

While Oates bagged both Steel Frame wins, Dave Watling was the man to beat in the 1300 Clubman/Novice ranks with a double as he took the championship lead from the absent Seb Spiers.
