CLUB chiefs at Aintree MRC have revealed their decision to axe the final three rounds in the midst of track licence woes.
The news comes just weeks after organisers revealed that the first two rounds of the year had been scrapped, with the last three of 2019 on hold until further notice
But organisers have now released a statement expanding on the current state of affairs and officially axing the final rounds of this season.
Aintree’s directors and committee say they are still pursuing all avenues to be able to resume racing in 2020.
