In Awards, News

Cam Dawson has won the people’s vote for UK Clubsport’s Rising Star award after a standout season in both clubs and the BSB paddock.

The KMR Kawasaki-powered youngster dominated the Ulster SBK Supersport 300
championship while making the leap to the British Junior Supersport class, where he
was just tenths of a second off a podium finish in the Brands Hatch finale as he
rounded out 2019 in ninth overall.

Dawson grabbed more than 22 per cent of the public votes while rising roads star
James Hind, who is just weeks out of his teenage years, took second with 16.7 per
cent ahead of Scottish young gun Owen Paterson with 14.3 per cent.

Darley champ Katie Hand and Superteens star Joe Talbot rounded out the top five with 13.5 and 12.5 per cent, respectively.
