UK Clubsport turns one!

In Features

TODAY, UK Clubsport reaches the ripe old age of one, which gives us a chance to say thanks to everyone who has helped us on our way.

We launched on September 19 2016 to fill the void left behind in club racing reporting following the closure of the Bikesport News app – it was a bloody good app, ran by bloody good people and is still missed by many.

Since then, hundreds of thousands of you have passed this way to catch up on the latest club racing news, results and features.

Of course, none of it would’ve been possible without the support of the clubs, photographers, writers and advertisers, as well as the riders who are, at the end of the day, the real stars of this little piece of web space.

We couldn’t begin to list everyone who has helped us get to where we are today, but hopefully you all know who you are. It’s been an exciting first year and we’ve made a lot of new friends along the way, and hopefully haven’t offended too many people.

We have big plans in the pipeline for 2018 and even bigger still for 2019, so stick with us, and remember to keep in touch – we can’t do this without the help and input from riders, their families and friends keeping us in the loop.

Thanks again to the clubs, most of which have backed and supported us from the start and hopefully, we’ve even managed to win the cynics over…

Love, pies and cheesy chips,

Zoe… (the ed)
