New brakes for SV650 in 2019

MINITWIN racers across the country could be in for a treat next season as the class-favourite Suzuki SV650 looks on for more stopping power.

The Stocktwin-series weapon of choice will become an even bigger threat in 2019 as company chiefs announce a new four-piston front brake caliper setup for next year’s model.

Suzuki’s 650 took every Minitwin and Standard Twin club title across the country this season and with improvements still being made to design, it doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

But if you’re nitpicking, it should slow down quicker with bigger brakes.
