NEMCRC releases provisional 2018 race dates

THE North East Motorcycle Racing Club is back again next year with three provisional race dates on tap for the 2018 season.

Just a week before the series finale at East Fortune next weekend, club chiefs are already looking ahead to the new year in hopes of bringing more two and three-wheeled action to the region.

NEMCRC competitors will open 2018 with a visit to Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire the weekend after Easter, then head north of the border to East Lothian some five weeks later for the first of two visits to East Fortune.

As with years past, classic racers are expected to be able to score points at the annual Bob MacIntyre Classic meeting in mid-summer, but club officials have yet to make any announcements.

The final round of 2018 will once again take place at East Fortune on the first weekend of October.

NEMCRC provisional 2018 race calendar:

April 7-8 – Round 1: Croft Circuit

May 12-13 – Round 2: East Fortune

October 6-7 – Round 3: East Fortune
