Isle of Man TT – 2018 action schedule

THE most famous road races in the world are set to roar into action over the next few days as the Isle of Man TT gets underway.

As ever, the roads are set to close for the first time on Saturday evening, as the newcomers get their first real taste of a lap of the famous Mountain Course.

This will be followed by almost a fortnight of  TT action, with practice and qualifying throughout the two weeks along with four race days.

Check out the full schedule below, but be advised that this will be subject to change depending on the weather and other factors.

Saturday May 26:

6.20-6.45pm: Solo newcomers speed-controlled lap

6.35-7pm: Sidecar newcomers speed-controlled lap

6.45-8.50pm: Lightweight TT/Supersport/Newcomers (all solo classes)

Monday May 28:

6.20-7.50pm: Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (except Lightweight)

7.55-8.50pm: Sidecars

Tuesday May 29:

6.20-7.25pm: Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (except Lightweight)

7.25-7.55pm: Supersport/Lightweight/Newcomers (all solo classes)

8-8.50pm: Sidecars

Wednesday May 30:

6.20-7.40pm: Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (except Lightweight)

7.45-8.35pm: Sidecars

8.35-8.50pm: TT Zero

Thursday May 31:

6.20-7.15pm: Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (except Lightweight)

7.20-7.45pm: Supersport/Lightweight/Newcomers (all solo classes)

7.50-8.35pm: Sidecars

8.35-8.50pm: TT Zero

Friday June 1:

6.20-7.35pm: Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (except Lightweight)

7.35-7.45pm: TT Zero

7.55-8.50pm: Sidecars

Saturday June 2 – Race Day:

12pm: RST Superbike TT Race – 6 laps

3pm: Sidecar TT Race 1 – 3 laps

4.35pm: Superstock/Supersport/Lightweight Qualifying

5.10pm: TT Zero Qualifying

Monday June 4:

10.45am: Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 1 – 4 laps

12.25-1.05pm: Sidecar Qualifying

2.15pm: RL360 Quantum Superstock Race – 4 laps

3.55pm: Lightweight Qualifying

4.15pm – TT Zero Qualifying

Wednesday June 5:

10.45am: Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2 – 4 laps

12.45pm: SES TT Zero – 1 lap

2.10pm: Bennetts Lightweight TT Race – 4 laps

3.55pm: Sidecar TT Qualifying

4.10pm: Senior TT Qualifying

Friday June 8:

10.15am: Sidecar TT Race 2 – 3 laps

12.45pm: PokerStars Senior TT Race – 6 laps
