Darley Moor MCRRC reveals 2018 dates

In Darley Moor, News

DARLEY Moor chiefs have pulled the wraps off their calendar of race dates for next season, revealing a seven round series in 2018.

Less than a week on from the series finale Stars at Darley event, organisers are already looking toward the new year as they publish race and test days for their home club.

Solo and sidecar action will kick off with a test day on the Saturday after Easter, immediately preceding Round One on Sunday.

Racers then return on Bank Holiday Monday in May for Round Two before a six week break until Round Three in mid-June.

While the club will be out of action for the entire month of July, competitors can look forward to a double-header for Rounds Four and Five on the first weekend of August ahead of the penultimate races in mid-September.

The famous Stars at Darley season finale returns on the same date next year, run concurrently with the club’s final round.

Darley Moor MCRRC provisional 2018 race calendar:

Saturday 7th April – Test Day

Sunday 8th April – Round 1

Monday 7th May – Round 2

Sunday 17th June – Round 3

Saturday 4th August – Round 4

Sunday 5th August – Round 5

Sunday 16th September – Round 6

Saturday 6th October – Test Day
